The Research & Development Cell (R&D) of PYDAH College of Engineering intent is to nurture research activities in the institute by promoting research in new emerging and challenging areas of Engineering, Technology, Science and Humanities. It encourages research culture among the faculty and students. We help research is defining and re-defining to gather data/information & ask them to extract new meaning from it. We also follow ethics in research and we encourage the students to be creative & innovating. The major role is stimulate contacts with the real world and promote research in young minds by way of participating in project competitions, seminars, workshops and conferences. The R&D Cell aims to reach the Vision and Mission of the Institute by 9th November 2022.
Objectives:

To create zeal amongst students and faculty members towards research and innovation.

To work closely with the industrial needs that eventually will result in new or improved products, processes, systems or services that can increase the company's productivity.

To foster collaborations for mutual benefits and to maximize industrial connectivity.

To establish collaboration with other universities, public and private sectors and identify R&D projects including consultancy services which could be undertaken at the institution.

Pydah Innovation & Incubation Hub is the dedicated Incubation Center at our campus, established to cultivate a thriving ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship among our students, faculty, and the wider community. Registered as a Section 8 company, PI Hub operates with a commitment to fostering ventures that not only demonstrate strong business potential but also create positive social impact.
We provide a supportive and resource-rich environment where early-stage startups and innovative projects can take root, grow, and scale. Our focus extends beyond mere profit generation, emphasizing the development of sustainable and socially responsible businesses that address real-world challenges. PI Hub is more than just an incubation center; it's a launchpad for impactful ventures and future leaders.

Our Institution's Innovation Cell (IIC) in Action
At Pydah College of Engineering, we believe in empowering our students and faculty to become innovators and entrepreneurs. In line with this vision, we have established a vibrant Institution's Innovation Cell (IIC) with the support and guidance of the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC). The IIC serves as a dedicated platform to promote and support innovation, start-up activities, and intellectual property rights within our campus. We aim to create a dynamic ecosystem that encourages the generation of novel ideas and their translation into impactful solutions for society.
